Dr David Molloy
Clinical Director

Dr David Molloy has been working in gynaecology and IVF for more than 20 years, and has built a busy practice in the management of infertility.

He is the Clinical Director of Queensland Fertility Group, Director of the Queensland Gynaecological Endosurgery Group, and in 2004 was President of the AMAQ.

Dr Shane Higgins
Senior Infertility Specialist

An experienced obstetrician and infertility specialist, Dr Shane Higgins joined QFG over ten years ago. He integrated infertility treatment into his practice after developing an interest in reproductive endocrinology while undertaking a fellowship at QFG.

Dr Warren DeAmbrosis
Senior Infertility Specialist

Warren trained in obstetrics and gynaecology, taking a special interest in infertility treatment. Having been involved in IVF since the earliest Australian treatments were performed more than 25 years ago, Warren has since ceased to practice obstetrics and operative gynaecology in order to concentrate on infertility management and office gynaecology.

A founding director of QFG, Warren has had particular success in treating older women wishing to become pregnant, and is also popular among same sex couples. Professor Hayden Homer


Professor Hayden Homer has over 20 years’ experience in Infertility and Gynaecology and is a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with Royal Colleges in Australia & New Zealand (FRANZCOG) and in the UK (MRCOG). He has the unique distinction of also holding an advanced accreditation in Fertility and Reproductive Surgery in both Australia & New Zealand (CREI) as well as the UK (CCSST).   Hayden’s practice focuses on fertility treatment (including miscarriage), gynaecology and minimal access surgery for many conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and uterine abnormalities.  Hayden has a PhD in fertility research from the UK and holds the Professorship in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Queensland where he directs research aimed at developing innovative technologies for improving ageing egg quality.

Dr Marianne Ilbery
Senior Infertility Specialist

Dr Marianne Ilbery joined QFG in 1996 after spending several years working and training at the world’s first IVF clinic, Bourn Hall, Cambridge UK. Alongside her interest in general fertility, she specialises in reproductive endocrinology (particularly ovulation disorders and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).

Committed to helping patients fall pregnant as naturally as possible, Dr Ilbery is appreciated for her non-pushy approach and her focus on leaving the decisions in the patients’ hands regarding infertility treatment options.

A/ Prof Anusch Yazdani
Senior Infertility Specialist

Dr Anusch Yazdani is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS Hons) and completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Brisbane. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive pelvic surgery in Sydney, he returned to Brisbane in 2002 to develop tertiary referral units in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. In 2006, he completed the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), distinguishing himself by unique subspecialist qualifications in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and minimally invasive pelvic surgery.

Dr Yazdani co-founded the Queensland Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (QIMIS), a not for-profit organization that conducts basic and advanced courses in pelvic surgery. His philosophy of evidence based, yet individually tailored care lead to the foundation of Eve Health Australia, a private womens health centre.

Dr Yazdani is a Visiting Medical Officer to the Mater Misericordiae, an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and a Director of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES). He joined the Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) in 2008 as Director of Clinical Research and Development.

Dr Yazdani is the training supervisor for Queensland’s only specialist infertility and IVF training programme. He is widely published in medical journals, has co-authored textbooks and lectures widely nationally and internationally.

Dr Doug Keeping

Dr Tal Jacobson


Dr Tal Jacobson is kind and approachable with an easygoing and relaxed manner that will put you at ease. He is professional, confidential and courteous. He is a skilled specialist practitioner and an accomplished academic, with a career that has taken him around the world.

Dr Jacobson graduated from Cambridge University and Guy’s Hospital, London University. He then completed extensive specialist training in the UK, including a Fertility Fellowship at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and a two-year Fellowship in keyhole gynaecological surgery at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals. After completing his training in the UK, he spent a number of years practising in New Zealand before moving to Brisbane in 2010.  Tal is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and an elected Councillor to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) where he serves on a number of national committees. He convenes and oversees the RANZCOG Part 2 membership exam which is a critical component of the assessment of all obstetricians and gynaecologists in Australia and New Zealand.

His research on endometriosis, pelvic pain, infertility, and laparoscopic surgery has been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. He has been awarded the Cutler’s Company Surgical Fellowship and several other prizes and awards for his laparoscopic surgery research, and has undertaken travelling fellowships to the USA, Germany, and Austria. He teaches other doctors on a range of courses including anatomy, surgery and evidence based medicine.

Dr Jacobson has a specific interest and experience in the management of endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, infertility, menstrual disorders and complications of early pregnancy. He is a very experienced laparoscopic surgeon providing a wide range of procedures including treatment of endometriosis, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic treatment of ovarian cysts and robotic surgery.   Dr Jacobson offers experienced fertility treatment including IVF.  He operates at the Wesley, Mater Private, Spring Hill Day Surgery and St Andrews Hospitals.  Dr Jacobson is also a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mater Mothers’ Hospital and delivers all babies exclusively at the Mater.   He is the father of three teenage boys and enjoys cycling in his (limited) spare time!

Dr Andy Stamatiou


Dr Andy Stamatiou is a well-respected Brisbane Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist who is known for his compassionate and caring approach to all his patients.

Dr Stamatiou offers continuity of care throughout fertility treatment, pregnancy and delivery. Dr Alex Alexander

Dr Peter Ganter
Senior Infertility Specialist

Dr Peter Ganter joined QFG three years ago. He has a busy obstetric practice, delivering at the Wesley Hospital, and he sees infertility patients at Watkins Medical Centre. He is also a visiting medical officer at Enoggera Army Barracks.

Dr Michael Wynn-Williams
Senior Infertility Specialist

Graduating from Otago University, Michael completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Christchurch and Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Following his interest in advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology, he completed two years Fellowship at the Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney and a third year in Glasgow, Scotland. He then spent two years as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Cambridge University NHS Trust.

In 2006 Michael and his family choose to settle in Brisbane to enjoy the lifestyle Queensland has to offer. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Mater Adults and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospitals where he sees public patients with severe endometriosis from around Queensland. Michael provides private consultations from Eve Health at Southbank, Brisbane and private surgical care at the Mater Private and Wesley Hospitals. He takes an active interest in teaching laparoscopic surgical techniques and has demonstrated at many surgical meetings in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Michaels main interests are the laparoscopic surgical approaches to the management of endometriosis and fibroids to improve fertility outcomes. Dr Ben Kroon


Dr Ben Kroon is an accomplished fertility specialist, gynaecologist and obstetrician.

He has achieved the highest level of advanced specialist training in infertility, making him one of only a few fertility and reproductive endocrinology subspecialists in the state. He has a special interest in male and female infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, ovulation disorders, recurrent pregnancy loss and fertility preservation.    Dr Kroon specialises in surgical treatments that optimise fertility, with a particular interest in minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery. His surgical practice has a focus on endometriosis, menstrual disorders and other conditions that may impair a woman’s fertility. He has previously been awarded the coveted Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society’s Travelling Fellowship.

Dr Warrick Smith
Senior Infertility Specialist

Dr Warrick Smith graduated in medicine from The University of Queensland in 1996. While working as a resident at Toowoomba Base Hospital he developed an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, and was offered his first registrar position. He subsequently trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane, and Nambour General Hospital.

Rounding out his training, he spent almost four years in Dublin, Ireland. He was registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology and Trinity College lecturer at the Adelaide & Meath Hospital, Dublin. Under the guidance of Professor Walter Prendiville, he also expanded his skills in laparoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery.

He subsequently spent almost three years working as Senior Registrar and Trinity College lecturer at the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin, furthering his skills in both obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as working in the infertility clinic.

Dr Smith then moved back to Brisbane with his wife and children. Having completed training, he joined Eve Health located in South Brisbane as a gynaecologist and is an associate with Queensland Fertility Group on Wickham Terrace. Dr Smith is accredited at the Mater Private Hospital, Greenslopes Private and The Wesley. Dr Smith practices Gynaecology and Fertility from Eve and has his own obstetric practice at Watkins Medical Centre on Wickham Tce where he also sees fertility patients. Dr David Moore

Dr David Moore joined Queensland Fertility Group in 2015, to assist patients with difficulties conceiving and to realise his goal of being able to offer couples comprehensive continuity of care, as a specialist in infertility, pregnancy and delivery. After graduating from the University of Queensland Medical School, Dr Moore completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in centres throughout Queensland. Dr Robyn Aldridge

Senior Fertility Specialist

Dr Robyn Aldridge is passionate about caring for women and their families. She cares for women with gynaecological concerns or at any stage of their pregnancy journey.  Dr Aldridge has trained and worked in some of New Zealand and Australia’s leading tertiary hospitals. Most recently, she was the Director of Clinical Governance at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne and a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics at Monash University. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based care to the women that she sees.

Dr Aldridge is experienced in resolving a wide range of gynaecological concerns for women and understands the impact that these concerns can have on daily life. Dr Kellie Tathem


Kellie is a Brisbane-trained obstetrician and gynaecologist. She has an approachable, reassuring and empathetic bedside manner, and is committed to working with patients to achieve positive outcomes and experiences. Dr Simone Campbell


Simone has been practising as a Fertility Specialist full-time since 2006.  Before Fertility became her primary focus, she worked as an Obstetric and Gynaecological staff specialist in a range of Public hospitals in rural and remote areas of Australia, as well as a number of private hospitals.  Simone completed her Master of Reproductive Medicine in 2010.

Dr Melissa Luckensmeyer

Melissa specialises in obstetrics, fertility and general gynaecology, including colposcopy, laparoscopy, minor and major vaginal and abdominal gynaecological surgery. After graduating from the University of Queensland, she completed her training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Brisbane and is very well acquainted with the local network and practices.

Melissa’s extensive experience as an obstetrician and fertility specialist means that she is able to provide continued specialist care during pregnancy and birth.

Her warm and caring nature allows her patients to feel comfortable and safe. As a mother of three children, she empathises with those desiring a family of their own. Terry is a graduate of the University of Queensland and has since gained extensive experience in the fertility field in both Australia and overseas, working in elite units in London in IVF, obstetrics and gynaecology. He is a Senior Fertility Specialist with Qld Fertility Group.

Dr Di Poad

Di is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who graduated from the University of Otago and trained and worked in New Zealand, Adelaide, the United Kingdom and now lives and works in Brisbane. She has a breadth of experience in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology including colposcopy and the associated treatments for precancerous cervical conditions, abnormal bleeding investigation and treatments and investigation and management of pelvic pain. She provides private Obstetric care as part of an all female experienced Obstetric Group. Di is almost entirely working in the private sector now having spent many years in the past training and supervising doctors training in the field of O&G. Dr Daniel Fleming


Dr Daniel Fleming is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and an examiner for the College. When President of the College, he introduced a Code of Conduct for Cosmetic Surgery which has been authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission as being in the public interest. For some years Dr Fleming performed annually more breast implant operations than any other doctor in Australia. He has the experience of more than 3,300 breast implant operations and is recognized internationally for the quality of his teaching in this procedure. He has a special interest in reducing complications for breast augmentation patients. He introduced the rapid recovery technique to Australia and has pioneered here the use of polyurethane foam covered breast implants which are now accepted to reduce the commonest complications of breast augmentation. He has written a chapter in a plastic surgery textbook on this subject.

Dr Fleming has presented many papers at international conferences, given surgical demonstrations overseas and has made numerous television appearances including Good Medicine, Insight, Four Corners, A Current Affair, Today Tonight, Brisbane Extra and ABC Stateline.

Dr Fleming strongly believes that patients need extensive information before they can make an informed choice when deciding if cosmetic surgery is the right for them. Consultations are therefore with him personally, not a nurse or “consultant”.

Dr David Gilpin

Dr David Gilpin is a University of Queensland Graduate (1982 second class honours). He completed Residency Training in Brisbane before commencing training on the Orthopaedic Program in 1986 and obtaining his Fellowship in 1989. He completed a Fellowship in Micro Surgery at St James University Hospital, Leeds in 1990 during which time he obtained further training in Plastic Surgery and Micro Surgical techniques. He completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 1991 before accepting a position as a visiting consultant at the same hospital.

Since 1999 he has operated solely in private practice undertaking surgery for upper limb conditions, with his 50% of his practice comprising of treatment of disorders of the shoulder and elbow and 50% wrist and hand conditions.  Dr Gilpin has recently been extensively involved with the investigation of the use of Collagenase in the treatment of Dupuytren’s disease of the hand.

Apart from his upper limb surgery he has a particular interest in medical indemnity issues and has been actively involved as a Board Member and representative of MDA National in Queensland.  In this capacity he has assisted in member support activities, risk management education and provided medico-legal assessments.  He continues to participate in recertification activities with the Australian Orthopaedic Association.  Dr Gilpin continues to participate in teaching both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

Dr David Winkle

Dr David Winkle is a Urological Surgeon, with special interests in paediatric urology, reconstructive urology including male infertility and urinary stone disease. Dr Winkle completed his medical degree at The University of Queensland in 1978. He completed his urological training in Queensland and was subsequently awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1988.

In 1989, he travelled to the United Kingdom as the Australasian Travelling Fellow in Urology. Dr Winkle spent 2 further years specialist training in paediatric urology and reconstructive urology. Since 1991, Dr Winkle has worked in public and private practice in Brisbane.

Dr Winkle is a Member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, a corresponding member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Paediatric Urology and an Associate Member of the European Society of Paediatric Urology.

Dr Glen Wood

Dr Glen Wood completed a Science degree and 2 years of full time research at Monash University, Victoria prior to completing his medical degree at the University of Queensland. He completed his advanced surgical training in Urology in Queensland and spent a further year in Christchurch, New Zealand gaining experience in Laser stone surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of Prostate Cancer.

Dr Wood has completed training in Seed Brachytherapy at the Seattle Prostate Institute and founded Queenslands first brachytherapy program at the Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2003. His interests include diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, stones and infertility.

Dr Wood is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of surgeons, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Urological Society and registered with the medical board of Queensland. He holds appointments at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. He is the Head of Urology training at The Greenslopes Private Hospital.

Dr Mark Tuffley

Dr Tuffley graduated from the University of Queensland in1973, gaining first class honours in Dental Science and then went on to complete his Medical and specialist Oral and Maxilla facial training, primarily at Royal Brisbane Hospital. Dr Tuffley has been active in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery private practice since 1985. His current research is through the Centre for Clinical Research at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals. It broadly involves the modulation of tissue responses through biochemical means, specifically complex nutritional mixtures.

Dr Rebecca Won

Dr Rebecca Won is a Plastic, Reconstructive & Hand Surgeon. She graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2004. She commenced surgical training in General Surgery in Brisbane, before being accepted onto the Plastic Surgical Training Program.

Dr Won completed her training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2012 and was awarded her FRACS (Plastics), becoming a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). She initially worked as a Staff Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital.

From 2014 to 2016 Dr Won undertook additional post-fellowship training in her special interest area of Hand and Upper Limb Surgery in the Hand & Peripheral Nerve Surgery Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, and at Macquarie University Hospital Hand Unit in Sydney.
