Dr Ajita enjoys providing woman-centered care for all gynaecological conditions. She has particular interest and expertise to help with abnormal cervical screening tests, menstrual disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and pelvic pain. She prides herself on providing personalised, comprehensive care, and will work with you to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. She is also trained to provide pre-conception counselling. Dr Ajita has spent most of her life in Brisbane and completed her medical training throughout some of the largest hospitals in Queensland. She is bi-lingual, being fluent in English and Bengali.
Dr Ajita has extensive experience in all aspects of general gynaecology, including laparoscopy, colposcopy for abnormal pap smears and vulval disorders, endometrial ablation and management of heavy bleeding and vaginal surgery.
