Dr Rebecca Won is a Plastic, Reconstructive & Hand Surgeon. She graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2004. She commenced surgical training in General Surgery in Brisbane, before being accepted onto the Plastic Surgical Training Program.

Dr Won completed her training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2012 and was awarded her FRACS (Plastics), becoming a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). She initially worked as a Staff Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital.

From 2014 to 2016 Dr Won undertook additional post-fellowship training in her special interest area of Hand and Upper Limb Surgery in the Hand & Peripheral Nerve Surgery Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, and at Macquarie University Hospital Hand Unit in Sydney.

Dr Won is regularly involved in teaching of junior surgical trainees and also sits on the medical advisory council at Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital.
